Bio

Ann Beth Stebbins is an accomplished corporate attorney and longtime advocate for the university and Georgetown Law.

 After graduating with a bachelor’s in economics and government, Stebbins continued her education at the NYU Stern School of Business, where she earned an MBA in 1991. After earning her J.D. at Georgetown Law, she joined the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she has worked ever since. As partner for Skadden's Mergers & Acquisition group, Stebbins worked in Washington, D.C., Hong Kong, and London before returning to New York in 2005. She serves on the firm's diversity committee, hiring committee, and women's initiative.

 Stebbins chaired the Law Alumni Board for six years; serves on the Law Center Board of Visitors; and is an adjunct professor for the law school. She is active in the Alumni Interview Program and has hosted numerous receptions for admitted students and alumni. Stebbins is a member of the University Board of Regents, where she chairs the law center affairs committee. She is active in the Georgetown Scholarship Program, she is a class ambassador, and she co-chaired the fundraising committee for her class’s 25th reunion.

 She and her husband, Bob, live in New York City and Mantoloking, New Jersey.
