Chiranjeev Dash, MBBS, MPH, PhD is an associate professor of oncology and biostatistics in the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. He also serves as the director of community outreach and engagement (COE) and as the director of cancer screening at the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention at Georgetown Lombardi. His research focuses on molecular epidemiology and cancer prevention and control in the areas of cancer screening, diet, and physical activity. In this role he also mentors early career trainees on community outreach and engagement, community-engaged research, and cancer navigation. Dash received his degree in medicine from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He also holds a master’s in public health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a PhD in Epidemiology from Emory University.
